Critical Infrastructure Company: Network Tuning Project

Challenge

During the pre-sale process for one of the vendors, our network engineer recognized a problem with hardware resources on the customer site: the hardware spec was appropriate for the needs; however, a significant number of devices were overloaded. We couldn’t continue a pilot without proper resources.

Solution

The Servionix networking team suggested to perform a health-check and audit of the network topology. A misconfiguration was discovered, which was causing the overload. Responding to this new information, we recommended our customer use different settings, which reduced the load and freed significant hardware resources.

Outcome

We have been able to assist the vendor in winning the project.
